”Every child has their own world, in which they can feel safe and any disturbance may influence their growth. If the child is in hospital for treatment, they are under stress and they suffer. If they are in hospital for a longer period or they are in institutional care, they miss something and can feel sad all the time.
Clown’s performances in hospitals or in other health care facilities bring children back to “their” world of wonders. Even if it is just for a short moment, it can help children to have energy to forget about pains and to fight the disease on. And, of course it could give us a feeling of humanity.”
